I have a friend that is trying to find out about some bobbins that she owns.
They are spangled bobbins with an "A" stamped at the base.
I can send pictures if you email be privately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as she can't find anything in the
books she owns

Just a thought, buy a piece of black machine made lace and place on the
shade with the lamp lit and see what you think! The idea of lace on a
lampshade sounds lovely!
