You have my sympathy as I have had upended pillows a couple of times now -
once the cats were at fault (they knocked over the whole table p laying a wild
game of chase around the house) and once it was the fault of my cleaner's
sister-in-law, who came to help her.
But I would like to
My mum had on e eye removed as a consequence of melanoma in 1981, and went on

Our local quilting shop in Illinois recommends the Stella Lamp, which I
understand is fairly new out:

It looked impressive, but I wasn't in the market for a new lamp, being very
satisfied with my existing one.

I think this is a wonderful idea - and reminds me of the Lace on CDs website
of the turn of the century.
Creating a website to display our interpretations would be so clever - and we
have 2 years lead time to accomplish something.
How inspired!

PS - I would still buy bobbins, cover

Arachne 20 years - a Stuart Johnson bobbin please, I have a cupboard of cover
cloths and I can only use one decorative one at a time.
Wow! Alex, I'm impressed - I presume only one decorative one means you have
only one pillow on the go at any one time!!

I like the idea of a cover cloth for the 20th anniversary. I do have more
bobbins than I can count, but there are never enough cover cloths, and a
commemorative one would be really nice
I'm not averse to the idea of a bobbin too!
As to people who read but don't post - I am happy for you to
Ou t of curiosity (as I live in America and have no tech nical knowledge to
add to washing lace), I looked to see what these balls are! Their
ingredients are listed as follows:
Ecozone Ecoballs
Sodium alpha olefin sulphonate 37%, laureth-9 14.50%, sodium metasilicate 11%,
sodium carbonate
Thank you for that.Â
I wondered how the centres were worked, but hadn't enlarged the feathers
enough to see. Needle lace would be an easy way to produce the coloured effect
one wanted.

I saw a picture on the internet of Premysl Knapp's peacock necklace some time
ago, and am trying to track down the pattern. I wrote to the owner of the
website at the time asking if it was Premysl Knapp's but never got an answer.
Does anyone recognise this as a published pattern?

I would put the join at 20 or 40 minutes past the hour - as the least likely
places for the eye to travel first . Certainly not in the top half or at
half past.
Looking forward to photos of the finished clock!

Wh at about stretching it into shape on the kitcehn counter (cleaned
first!)? Would that be long enough for you? Generally I find that if I pat
the lace into shape while it is wet and leave it to dry on a clean, flat
surface, it keeps it's shape well

Before making other decisions, I would ask the head of the altar guild how
they normally wash the altar cloth - expecially if it has wine (red?) or

to do.Â

Does anyone on the list want a knitting machine (or two)?
My mum has just died, and Dad is looking for someone to take them. You would
need to be prepared to come to Wallasey, Cheshire to collect them.

I've used pre-filled syringes too when injecting the cat, and it was really
difficult to get those caps off the syringe. There must be a trick to getting
them off, but I didn't discover it!
Thankfully I had to fill my own syringes and those needle covers were much
easier to remove.

Good point, Brenda.
I think you will also find your own preference for speed of inserting the

When we looked at the College of Wooster in 2004, for our son, there was an

Several of us went to the pool after the afternoon classes and before dinner
