Does anyone know of a bobbin painter called A Jarrett? I have a pair of
bobbins painted by him/her dated 1984, I think. They are of Japanese
ladies.

Dear Arachnes
does anyone know the UK bobbin painter who does the fine insect
designs including bumble bees? She was at St Ives last Nov and I have
lost her leaflet. I know she has a very simple web page but I forgot
to bookmark it.
Thanks
Louise

Shirley Gates from Exeter retired a few years ago. She produced beautifully
painted bobbins at a very reasonable cost. I have lots of them as I got a
bobbin a month from her for years. I enjoy using them as they feel good.

I have 2 beautiful bobbins that I was given about 3 years ago - one with a
butterfly and the other with a hollyhock. They were painted by S.Gates and

artwork is really lovely and it would be great to be able to buy so
