machine produced
Though the dealer does say handmade and hand sewn nowhere does the word
'bobbin' appear - just splitting hairs ;o)
Whatever it is the design is amazing.

I agree with the others... the (relatively) close-up pictures
definitely show the striations that are consistent with machine-made
lace. Poor sucker who bought it for that price! Still, if this person
is a reenactor, they may not care whether it's real or not... the

experience and is well qualified to tell the difference - and I should
invest some time in learning something about lace.
