Hi all,

Janet and I thought we would remind those of you who have not already signed
up, that we are nearing the time we will select the pairings for the exchange.
So, if you have not already signed up for a partner, please consider doing so.
It is a lot of fun and we know you will enjoy the experience. Besides the fun
of making the ornament and mailing off to a distant location, is the fun of
receiving a card and ornament. Plus seeing them all when Jenny uploads them
all for us to drool over.

When we sent out the original announcement, we received a comment regarding the
card you will use when you send the ornament and skill level required. Please,
please do not hesitate or decide to not join us because you feel your lace will
not be good enough. Your lace comes from your heart and will be treasured by
whoever receives it because it was made with love.
Next, regarding the card. Whether you make one yourself or purchase one or just
put your ornament or piece of lace in an envelope alone, it does not matter.
What matters is that you took the time to make something.
Another issue addressed after our first announcement related to what can be
sent. Whatever you take the time to make and send is up to you. Your partner
will enjoy whatever you send.
We hope this extra info helps to sway those on the range fence to send us your
names, addresses and number of ornaments you would like to send out.

As a reminder please note the following dates:

1 OCT - 22 OCT 2014
- send us your name and address
- tell us how many cards you would like to make
- also, if you have any special requests as to where you would like to send
your cards, please let us know
- please send your requests to either of us at the following addresses or reply
to this e-mail and we will do our best to carry out your wishes.

Janet from Bridlington, Yorkshire, UK. janettheak...@hotmail.com

Sallie from Wyoming, USA bertra...@gmail.com

3 NOV 2014
Pairings will be sent out to all who desire to participate

1 DEC 2013 - all cards should be postmarked to your partner

We would also like to provide a couple ground rules
- If you want to share your work and the joy of the season, please send us your
name.
However, if you send us your name and you are paired, please follow through.
It is most disappointing if someone fails to follow through and their partner
has gone to the effort of making and sending their work and card

- If for some reason, after you have been paired you find you cannot follow
through, please let us know and we will reassign your name to someone else

- Again, if you feel uncomfortable sharing your work because you are just
beginning, please don't opt out. We will love your work all the more because
you tried.

Many Thanks,

Janet & Sallie
