Subject was changed, so it will be easier to search in Arachne archives for Lace in Kortrijk.  Could someone share a web site where those who do not travel can see the laces in the Lace Museum in Kortrijk?  All I found was tourist bureau stuff.   Everyone should be able to see a few of the exhibits that were in the old Flax and Lace Museum in Kortrijk.  It was wonderful.  Greet,  Does the new museum have a web site?  Is there a book about the lace collection in Kortrijk?   For those with a scholarly interest in production of linen thread, there is a large 1987 book, still available, written by Bert Dewilde, who was connected to the old Flax and Lace Museum in Kortrijk.  Title:  Flax in Flanders Throughout the Centuries: History, Technical Evolution, Folklore - ISBN 90 209 1498 7, in English, art book size, 216 pages, many photos.  It should be in the libraries of lace museums.  The Lace Museum in California has it.  Jeri Ames in Maine USA Lace and Embroidery Resource CenterÂ
