I don't know how "horrible" that kit is when I think about the fact that it was my first bobbins, etc. (I still have them and plan to use them for heavier threads.)
It brought me to lace...along with the Nostalgia days In Morris, IL. So it can't be ALL that bad. It may run off a few, but it certainly brought me into the art form.
