Hello again after a long time! Smile. I just would like to let you good folks know that despite many efforts via the USA over the years I do not have a genuine "antique" Ipswich bobbin.
A few pictures of such a bobbin would suffice for my purposes, especially showing the "hollow" nature of it, together with your permission to use it in any of my academic articles. Can anyone help please? With special thanks to the Diana Smith collection of Antique Lace Bobbins I have finally completed "A Dictionary of English Antique Lace Bobbins and Lace Making Paraphernalia" and a "Collectors Guide to English Antique Lace Bobbins". I have a few feelers out there to get help to publish these documents on the Internet. I will let you know when , (if) they get published. Have a happy time over the celebrations of this time of the year. Brian - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here.
