Wonder if they've latched on to this having seen Anne Weston and myself demonstrating lace at the Papercraft Shows earlier in the year? :-). >From the current programme, A & B will be at the shows this series as well, (so if anyone is curious, they could get them to demonstrate it) - they tend to have this colour change thing on their demo computer though I'm not sure if it is a lace pattern, or whether they do that on all their CDs. What we have found with some of the suppliers (and I'm not sure if it applies to A & B or not) is that they misspell and mispronounce lacé - which is a paper-cutting technique nothing at all like the lace we make! Anne and I will be demonstrating bobbin and needlelace at all except the Sunderland show (it is a bit too far north for us). We get a reasonable amount of interest because we are the "something very different" and so many grandmas "used to do that" - in fact, at the Sheffield shows, there has been quite a bit of interest in tatting. The first is on Wednesday 13th September (afternoon) in Sheffield, and then we're in Leicester the following Sunday (17th Sept - 10.30-4). Details of venues and dates are on http://www.papercraftshows.com/showdates_index.php for anyone interested - do come and give us some support! A Plea... If there are any teachers/groups in the areas we are doing, who would like us to have details of their classes/meetings on the stand for people to take away with them - this would be *very* helpful. Email me off list first, as this ancient machine falls over at the sight of a large incoming file! We are doing Altrincham and Barnsley for the first time this series, so some information for those areas would be useful. -- Jane Partridge - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
