That's worrying Sue, we changed how we send out Overseas mags a while ago
because of problems with deliveries. Are you regularly not getting your
copy or was this a one off?

Thank you for this explanation. Nice to know, as The Lace Guild was not
mentioned in the original correspondence, only the word Guild. There are
other "Lace" publications that members of Guilds worldwide receive. Gmail is
used by people in many nations; not exclusiv

also a member of Arachne in her personal capacity - so her return address will
be a personal one (I don't think I have ever seen a committee member of any of
the organisations join Arachne in an official capacity

My copy of Lace #124 arrived in the middle of the week
but I was just given it this morning when DH told me that
he didn't know how it ended up on his desk downstairs.

I did my first piece of Honiton lace a year ago on a flat square pillow,
then graduated to a SMP Honiton before I obtained a straw one. Having a
curved pillow definately makes making the lace easier - as does a small
pillow that you can lean over to get a good view of, tie off threads etc
