 Hi
When in Brugge I bought a post card with a picture of the lovely weathered
old hands of a
Lacemaker on a pillow making Lace, I have carried this post card in my
purse for more than 16 years , it became rather tattered, so I put it in
a laminating pouch.
I show this postcard to people whenever the topic of Lacemaking comes
up,for to give them an idea what Lacemaking is about.
I also carry a bobbin in my purse, for folks to touch and handle, especially
children .
I lost the bobbin in the driveway of someone's home once, where a 4year
old found it ,took it to her mother and said , " Nicole's grandma sews with
this"
