I doubt you'll find an Italian bobbin inscribed with a name and, even if you did, it would not be a kind of bobbin which whould mix with the rest of the bobbins you use, if you're using Midlands. So, why not have a custom-made one? If you have a favourite maker -- ask him (or her) about personalised inscriptions. Or, if you don't, ask your favourite supplier about having a "plain Jane" inscribed with your granddaughter's name. I know that most UK suppliers and some in US provide inscribed bobbins and would be willing to customize the inscription or steer you to someone who does such work (burnt in, painted, embedded -- there's all kinds). It's not as if even the more common names sell in thousands; the inscriptions are not machine-made.
