I think I would suggest looking at Lyn Morton's books - her website is www.tatting.co.uk - also the small inexpensive books that Rosemarie Peel has produced over the years - http://www.lacet.co.uk Both are very helpful ladies, and Lyn also supplies threads and shuttles etc. Rosemarie's diagram

Hello, My go to books are the those by Jon Yusoff - Elegant Tatting Gems, and Tatted Snowflake Collection. I like Iris Neibach's books. Also Lene Bjorn's 24 tatted snowflakes and her bookmarks. Do a little looking before buying. I picked up the Mary Konior book sight unseen because everyone like
