Clay - I have one of these 'neck coolers' .... a lady in our lace club was
making & selling them for a fund-raiser for MS Society. They do feel great
and the gel holds the moisture - your clothes do not absorb any. I
understood it was the type of crystals used in baby diapers (perhaps someone
could take one apart and try -none available at my place <g>) But here is a

Also, I was cautioned that if purchasing the product from a garden centre to
make sure that it was not mixed with any fertilizers! :)
Nova (on Vancouver Island, where our 'mini' heat wave has cooled - back to
normal temps in the low 20's - Perfect!)
