I cut my sticky plastic covering about an inch or so wider than the pricking and place the pricking on the pillow, then lay the sticky plastic over the top of it, securing the pricking to the pillow.
I really like the sound of this idea. But surely if it's a larger piece of Bucks/Toender/Chantilly etc, with hundreds of pins, and which will possibly need to stay in place for a few months, don't you find that the outer edge of the plastic loses its stickiness and comes adrift?
