Just to let you all know that our lace fair was a big success again, with
approximately 1700 visitors over the 2 days. However, the five of us who
organise this event every year have now decided to retire after 18 years and
let a new generation take over. Maybe next year we can come as

The Slagelse lace fair in 2005 will be the 29th and 30th of October. We
usually hold it the last weekend in October. It would be great to meet you
there if you are in Denmark at that time.
I visited the Danish National Museum today and they are running a very good
exhibition about life in
Oh, Avril, it sounds like it was wonderful! Congratulations on putting
on such a great event, and good luck in "resting on your laurels" and
just enjoying the event in future years.

visitors ( have been to a lace event where there were 100... the last
one I attended, there were 15 of us!), and all the lovely laces on
