Let me echo Liz in congratulating Clay Blackwell on another wonderful Lace
at Sweet Briar. It was great fun, as always, with more potential hours of
lacemaking than any other event that I attend. This year Clay engaged a

You can lace in the classrooms from early till late - just depends on your
stamina!!
The food, at the meals Clay organises in the Conference centre, is
wonderful. What can beat salmon and / or beef
Ditto to the kudos for Clay and Lace at Sweet Briar. I really appreciated
the time to concentrate on lace. I took Binche design with Anny
Noben-Slegers and was glad I took it first at Sweet Briar rather than at an
IOLI convention with the attendant distractions of banquets and lectures and

I just got home from spending another fab week at Sweet Briar (near Lynchburg,
VA) making lace. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to attend I
must say that it is a beautiful location and a beautifully run event. I had a
great time making lace, eating the good food,
