To all who have shared experiences and many photos of the 2017 I nternational Organization of Lace convention - a huge thank you. There is no doubt but what this has been the most documented lace convention ever, and that your "contributions" are now in permanent places where people can read them for many decades to come. You have established a standard to follow in coming years. Just as we are interested in lace history of the first quarter of the 20th century (1900 through1925), this is exactly what we need to do every year, so that future generations can learn what we have been doing in the first quarter of the 21st century. You have confirmed that ace is not a dead art. You have contributed to lace history, which is primarily the history of women, and that is a very good thing.
