Another option, aside from buttons, is little plastic snaps. In yard goods stores you can find little transparent snaps. They are about 1/4 in in diameter, transparent and colorless. So they virtually disappear. But they would hold a modesty panel quite well with much less bulk than a button. L

Hi Sue, I'd hand pick the seam in the "ditch". Hand picking is a spaced back stitch. If you did it in the seam of the neck binding it'd be pretty unobtrusive. A blind stitch in the edge of the binding would work as well. Will you have to remove the lace to launder the top? Cynthia On May 8, 201
