The Metropolitan Museum of Art has a new website and an entirely new way of searching its collections. They are also soliciting feedback on it at the following Facebook page. If you have a chance, why don't you go search the site, and offer feedback. While limiting searches, it is best to remember that most of the lace is in the department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts, so it is best to limit the search to that in the "where in the museum" section, otherwise you will get every single oil painting or sketch with the term "lace" somewhere in the description.
