Liberty Lacers is a chartered chapter of the IOLI, based in Philadelphia PA
and the surrounding areas and we have been in existence for a number of
years.  And Tamara is correct in that Philadelphia is home to the cracked
Liberty Bell.  But I don’t know if that accounts for our sense of humor, it
might be the water <g>.  I maybe a little biased, but do feel that we have a
great group of ladies and we do have a lot of fun when we get together.
Plus some of our members do wear pearls when they get together to make lace.
So Liz, you will just have to come and visit us if you are ever in
Philadelphia and wear your pearls <g>.
