In reply to my own question; yes ox-blood shoe polish is still available - I found a tin in Timpson's shoe repairer's today. Thank you to Carole Lassak for offering to send me a tin from USA, but I won't be needing it now. Brenda, who's about to polish her shoes!

I got the most wonderful package from my Secret Pal. It started with a tour of the package. There were some wonderful choclates from a chocolatier, an angel shell ornament, a wonderful rose candle and 2 packages I cannot open yet. It is killing me. I loved everything.Thanks so much.
