I've been reading all the contributions with great interest and
amusement (real jokes are always better than the man-made ones) and
feeling sorry for myself -- why can't I come accross one like that? But
today I have! :)
There was an article in today's NYTimes, op-ed pages.
I always liked the manhole covers in Blackheath, London - they were labelled
