Since we've been talking about stains, I thought I would share a cat-
urine removal recipe I got from another list -- and which my SIL used
with great success.
Take 1 cup vinegar, one cup hydrogen peroxide and 1 cup baking soda.
Mix it all together and work it into the carpet. TEST A SPOT IN
YOU CARPET first to make sure it does not bleach out the color.
Soak the spot, work it in with a brush, then let it sit for a
few days to dry, then come back and vacuum.
