I delete messages that are about a year old, after saving any that I may need to look at again, later!
I also defrag occasionally - which is supposed to free up space, but I have always been a bit of a hoarder of things - never throw anything away in case you need it later!! - And invariable, after thowing something away - I find I need it about, a month or two later!!!!!!! :)
Maybe I should be more ruthless with Outlook Express, and only keep 6 months worth of mail!!!!!!!! - and compact the rest!
