December is probably not a good time to start the next round, so............
I am offering to co-ordinate a Christmas card exchange for December and then start another round of Secret Pals in January.
The Christmas card exchange will be A sends to B, B sends to C.......etc as with Secret Pals, but will not be anonymous, you will sign your name in the card. The card should include some hand made lace but other than that it's up to you.
This exchange will be international - you will almost certainly send and receive from abroad but because of the time factor it will be difficult for me to alter the initial pairings so you may or may not get paired with a former Secret Pal. This will be a one off committment to send and receive a lace Christmas card.
With all the security concerns in the world today it would be wise to put your return address on the envelope. I picked up this message on another discussion group earlier today:
Our local newspaper ran a story this morning saying that Canada Post will be
returning all incoming international mail that does not have the senders
name and address. They say that this is in accordance with some
international agreement. I have noticed that mail from England does not
usually have a sender's address on, so watch out for your Christmas cards,
they might not get delivered overseas.

Tell me your name and full postal address, and confirm that you are willing to send a Christmas card to whoever you are paired with. (If there is anyone to whom you really do not want to send to, please tell me in strict confidence).
I will be away all of next week, so the deadline to apply will be Monday 1st November. I will endeavour to do the pairings and notify you of your partner by 5th November. The cards will probably have to be posted mid-late November so get started!
