I thought I would enter the discussion on books at this stage to say that I
read science fiction and fantasy and am thrilled at how many new authors
there are being published in Australia (after decades of English and
American authors)
The other thing I have noticed is that there is a marked increase in women
writing this genre. I wonder if it is just that they are now being published?
If you follow this genre - some authors I like are (in no particular order)
Jennifer Fallon
Fiona McIntosh
Kate Forsyth
Anne Bishop
JV Jones
Anne McCaffrey (have most of her's)
and of course the one who started it all
Andre Norton
Jenny Brandis
