Hi, The piece of lace that I am working on has been on the pillow since 2000 !!
It is a piece of church lace from an Eva Kortelati (sp?) book that I started in memory of my dad who died in 2000. My mum made some too and that has been in the church since 2001. The lace was originally intended to go on a table but is now going to be used on a windowsill as realistically I would never get it finished !! The trouble is every time that I think that I have finished I find out that it needs to be a bit longer. I now have only one more three inch repeat to do and then all I have to do is mount it on the linen. I am planning to have it in the church by the end of the summer. We'll see !!
