Mmmm, I've been living in the same house for 24 years...and I've never
washed the outside of the windows, yet! The inside gets a wipe from time
to time, mostly the kitchen one, but the others....they don't seem to be
dirty, yet!
The outside gets a wash from the rain, or the hose (when we are allowed to
use it :-)
Between the venetian blands and the sheer curtains which ar always there,
you can't see if they're clean or dirty anyway, so I'd rather do something
else.
The kitchen one does get cleaned regularly, as it's above the sink, and
gets spots and grease marks, so I don't mind doing that.
As for storm windows, I'm happy to say that we don't need them where I
live :-)
