I am wondering what sort of effort is involved in adding support for a new
language to LanguageTool. I am trying to build a case for my company investing
some effort in the project. Let me try to be more specific about the areas I'm
concerned would require significant investment:

Can anyone point me at documentation that explains the principles of
creating and using custom Java rules or do I need to reverse engineer from
source code? If so, can someone recommend a simple example to look at?
