Hello, there's a problem I've had for several months now, and I've never
been able to find an answer to it. I'll try to explain as quick as possible:
I have a server that controlls my home network, it provides internet
to them also (NAT) and I would like to provide QoS by shaping traffic. I
is parameters are.
Hope you can give me a hand on this,

and cburst (even quantum) parameters are useful, but I still can't
understand crearly how to set them (there are few examples using up
rates of ~25kb/s), I hope you can check my rules and give me a hint on
what to do.

As you can see here, class 2:3 stands for the p2p class, and that's where I
send the marked p2p packets, I don't see why this configuration is not
working, please help me out with this. Thank you in advance

yet it'll still won't work, p2p traffic keeps eating all my bandwidth, its
ignoring all the priorities I have in my tc rules (being the 2:5 class the
one with the lowest priority), I really need to get this working, and I know
there's some ppl that has lots of more expe

web without the squid cache; another problem I have is that the msn messenger
I use (kopete for kde) isn't recognized by the layer7 protocol, so the
question is this, can I do this specifying the ports in tcng ?

show you my tc rules (showed by tc -s class show dev eth1). Thank you again

HI guys:
I have a DSL @ 1mb, and another one @ 256kbps
I've been reading countless hours regarding the split access / load
balancing issue, but for some strange reason, things don't work the way they
should.
Sometimes the split access works, other times a DSL begins an ARP flood
pointing all
REAL values of my 2 dsl connections?
I'm still not too good at coding in Linux... can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance
Edgar
