Hi,
Is there any patch available for increasing routing tables from 256
to higher number
for Fedora Core 3 and above.

small info to add:
I am using a 2.4 kernel (RH-9) and the packets currently are going
through IPSec, then getting routed through eth0 directly (but I want
them to go through tunl0)

Well, all this assumes that once the packet enters the ipsec tunnel,
after encapsulation the packets are routed afresh based on the routing
tables. Could the gurus help me fix this!!!

, if destination is 10.10.10.2 and the packet is not
marked, mark it.
3. Create another route for the packets that are marked.
Is this approach the right one, and is it possible to do such a thing -
I am specially doubtful about the second step!!

destination as 10.10.10.40 (after encapsulation). The resulting packet
should now be routed through another device created by my Mobile IP Driver.
Is it possible to have such a routing table? If yes, how do I achieve this?
Thanks,
Prasad

I am using Fedora Core 3 kernel 2.6.9.The max limit on routing tables is

for managing routes.I want to increase the max limit of routing tables to
1000(min.).Is there some solution for it? Or some patch available?
Is there any way to dynamically measure the no of concurrent internal hosts
(IP's) utilising the linux NAT Gateway/forwarding box.
The idea is to measure the no of hosts actively using the gateway. I do not
want to measure the no of TCP connections which iptraf does because it does
not give the
