I am using squid with pam_auth and delay pools to control the banwidth to
the inet access.
The problem, of course, is that 80% of the bandwidth is wasted.
So the idea is to make the same rules but with HTB or IMQ.
I did it by mac-address but the problem is that the users move from a side
to another
i saw this David's script to late .. but i am working (80% approximately)
with another idea.
Something like:
ip x.x.x.1 start downloading a file then, after maximum top (300kbs for
example),
the connection (not IP) is marked and then you can move it for other class
with tc.
so let see and example.
5Kbps ceil 30Kbps
but this is not the best performance.
So, anybody know how to catch the large package to www port?

Hi i make this script (Wonder Shaper modify) to accelerate www,Counter

- My problem is with http downloads. The priority is for Counter Strike but
when somebody start
downloading a file from http the Ping Lag get up to 500
