[LARTC] Bandwidth shaping per users with pam_auth

I am using squid with pam_auth and delay pools to control the banwidth to the inet access. The problem, of course, is that 80% of the bandwidth is wasted. So the idea is to make the same rules but with HTB or IMQ. I did it by mac-address but the problem is that the users move from a side to another

i saw this David's script to late .. but i am working (80% approximately) with another idea. Something like: ip x.x.x.1 start downloading a file then, after maximum top (300kbs for example), the connection (not IP) is marked and then you can move it for other class with tc. so let see and example.

[LARTC] Looking for good WS script

Hi i make this script (Wonder Shaper modify) to accelerate www,Counter strike and some other ports. Can anybody tell me what you thinks about it? - My problem is with http downloads. The priority is for Counter Strike but when somebody start downloading a file from http the Ping Lag get up to 500
