Thank you all for replying and helping me out with the
problems I had in communicating using GPIBs. The code
now works and I am able to communicate with both
Keithley and HP with no error continuously.

488: Error connecting to the device/driver" - Error 0
occured at Keith 237.

is a "Close" vi whose description is "Closes the IO
mode and returns instrument to local mode". That does
not work either.
