Blinking Plots

2004-03-23 Thread Jack Hamilton
Tim, You can make any plot blink by simply replacing the array for that plot with and array of 'Nan' - then put the old array back. Do this at about 250msec rate - you get a nice blinking effect. Jack Hamilton Hamilton Design Consulting 714.839.6375 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.HamiltonDesign

would also check that the cabling your using is shielded, encoder pulses can get up into high frequencies which can cause electrical noise problems. I recently ran into this very problem with an encoder connected to an E-Series board. The de-bounce circuit corrected the problem completely. Jack

E. You can use a math function to create a small delay. Although not reliable, doing some math (especially division) uses CPU cycles. (Sometimes wiggling the heck out of the mouse will slow Windows down too! ;-) Jack Hamilton Hamilton Design [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.Labuseful.com 714-839-6375
