hi, i just read this since i have a similar problem, trying to
transfer data across two computers at ~30mbyte/s rate. after doing
some testings, i found the optimal package size turns out to be 4096
byte or 4K for tcp/ip tranmsission on LAN.
i'm having an aquisition system running on one computer that needs to
feed the data in real time to another computer at ~40mbyte/s to
process. i'm running a datasocket server at the aquisition computer
and have the second computer read packages of data from the datasocket
server. but turns out it

stream data on a 64bit AMD dual processor. Labview crashes once a
while. Every time it fails, windows XP gets stuck at the loading logo
page and refuses to load. is there a compatibility issue among the
64bit processor, the chassis and the OS? i'm running labview 7.1.
