i have to communicate with a machine thru an ethernet network. My
problem is : what function in labview do i have to use : visa, tcp,
..

What kind of machine and what kind of software is running there? If
it's an instrument with an ethernet connection, then you could
possibly use VISA just like would for a GPIB instrument. If you're
