Yes, you can load more than one version. The problem comes with things
like MAX and NI-DAQ. These only allow one version to be loaded at a
time. We have a machine here with LV 5.1, 6.0, 6.1 & 7.0 on it. They
all still work.

It is possible to install both. LabVIEW 7 does not install to the same
location as an older version. The one thing that will get overwritten
is hardware drivers (i.e. NI-DAQ and NI-GPIB). I've had no problems
with older versions of LabVIEW and new versions of NI-DAQ and I think
