There are many possible solutions to this issue.  Some may be better
suited for your application depending on what hardware you currently
have.  One solution may be to use LabVIEW Real-time with a Fieldpoint
System.  You would use LabVIEW to write your control algorithm and
Fieldpoint to interface to your hydraulic system.  There are some
examples for using PID control.  And here is a link to an interactive

Again this is just one possible solution to you problem.  You may want
to contact your area sales representative to discuss more about your
system.  They are very capable of putting together the correct
software/hardware options for your application.
