Hi!
I am wondering if there is a way to make the General Debugger Settings
Project or Buildmode specific.
My problem is that I often switch between microcontrollers that need a
different version of gdb. (e.g. arm-none-eabi-gdb for arm,
mipsel-sde-elf-gdb for mipsel)
and that sometimes I can

With the updated setup.sh lazarus builds correctly and starts at the end
of the build process.

Yes, that's it: my fpc resides in /usr/bin so it's used before the newly
compiled one

It looks like your
/home/luca/Development/FreePascal/fpc/bin/fpc.cfg
Is being interpreted incorrectly and the wrong ppcx64 is being used. This
line in setup.sh is correctly setting the config path.
PPC_CONFIG_PATH=$BASE/fpc/bin
But this line isn't generating the correct fpc.cfg values.
