Sorting can be done not only by locale and alphabetically, but also in phone book and more sort orders. But I don't know any sort order that sorts german umlauts at the end of the whole list (as UTF8CompareText does). Such a sort order is not usable for me. You are looking for Collation

I would keep out LLVM and emscripten and just directly generate asm.js code which is then simply compatible to the libraries provided by the emscripten project. I do agree with Sven, the way to go is http://goldparser.org/ the same technique has been used for project llvm_pascal
