Sorry. I though you're talking about Lazarus trunk, not FPC.
anyway, obj-c support has been added to FPC.
You should be able to bootstrap the trunk-compiler and rtl with 2.2.4
or 2.4.0-rc version.

Just a quick FYI, that under Mac OS X v10.5.8, revision 14200 does not
build from a clean SVN grab.
Error is...
