Can any fpc developer tell me what is the response? sockets calls stop
working in new fpc versions, as you know..

logon and it works (so far).

That's strange. I use Synapse for Telnet connections and it's working
fine (Synapse Release 38 from 2007-12-21 and Lazarus 0.9.29, FPC 2.3.1).
