Hi,
I noticed that recently some people sent emails with Read Confirmation Requests
(also called Return Receipts). This is annoying for a mailing list.
The problem might be that settings for these requests are usually global (or
per-account) in email clients. This can be a problem for people that use return
receipts for their other (outgoing) mails, or that receive them from people
that expect them to return a receipt (so they can't set their email client to
ignore the requests).
So my question is: is it possible to filter out the
Disposition-Notification-To: header (or whatever other headers might be used
for this)?
