Hi,

as far as I understand CIE*Lab is an way to describe colors, which may or
may not be physically existent.
My question is which is the colorspacebody of physically ideal
refrective media? What is the belonging gamut of Lab?
Is it possible to shrink such an colorspacebody to an special reflective
media?

One way to calculate is to use XYZ as I would think it represents what is
phylically possible. (The horseshoe derives from it.)

I am shure there is knowledge on the web about. If somebody has an link
about this matter, please let me know.

Thanks
Kai-Uwe
