If you are trying with Firefox 3.x (beta), then all the events are recorded.
To test the actual web pages, I would recommend to go for web testing tools
like Selenium.

I have tried myself, but with no luck.
I use ldtpeditor on firefox. My actions in firefox were not recorded.
