Hello All, I'm trying to set up a machine to build wisp-dist. Does anyone have a working build tree they would be willing to share? If not, I have included my setup below as well as some specific questions of the moment.
Immediate Goal ============ I just want start development with a working build environment/build thatI have verified on my soekris 4521. Host Machine ========== Intel x86 redhat linux 7.3 (2.4.20-24) uml utilities 20030312-1 uml kernel 2.4.18-45 root-fs-woody I've located the following files: build-scripts.tar.gz src-user-progs.tar.gz src-kernel-2.4.20.tar.gz upload-wdist.tar.gz Specific Questions ============== 1. I've been able to compile the kernel and modules (2.4.20), but when I do a "make modules_install" I get the following unresolved symbols. Any suggestions? /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/mtd/maps/sc520cdp.o mtd_concat_destroy and mtd_concat_create /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net/wan/comx.o proc_get_inode /lib/modules/2.4.20/pcmcia/host_apcs.o register_pccard_driver, unregister_pccard_driver, and CardServices I am building from the ..../linux-dist directory 2. When I try to build busybox I get errors related to uClibc. Is that what it's supposed to link against or do I need to point the makefile to the libraries installed in the root_fs_woody file system? 3. Where can I find the source code for wdistconfig?
