Hi
It's nice to see someone else also having the same problem... I'm sorry: I
just read about a pop star visiting a local jail and the first thing he
said to the audience was "nice to see so many of you here today" ;-)
I have the same problem from Bering V1.1 and now Bering V1.2.

Hi James,
I have the same problem from Bering V1.1 and now Bering V1.2.
All nics ok except eth0 with PPPoE providers, on two differents boxes : one is a
"normal" minitower P3 700 or 800 with 64 Mo ram,
the other is a Soekris Net4511-30.
Similar problem with this two engines.

Hello all,
Small problem, I have set up a leaf router as a firewall and VPN support
(IPSEC and PPTP). I have added J Nilo's ssh package but are experiencing
a problem when connecting to it. After a small period of time the
connection dies - worse when vi is used. The problem is worse on windows

Hi all
I've had Bering 1.2 & Shorewall 1.4.2 up and running for about two months

(w/c is hardcoding, eew!)
TIA - Vic

I have finally gotten Lince to work and have successfully configured QoS-HTB
to suit my needs. I noticed under the Shorewall configuration an option to
enable traffic shaping.
What is the difference between configuring traffic shaping with Shorewall as
opposed to using the QoS-HTB configuration?
Hi guys,
I've played with this over the last couple of weeks and have had no luck
in setting it up.
So I'll turn the masses again ;)
I have a netcomm NB1300 which (with the latest software update) supports
SNMP now.
I wish to be able to acces the config page (as in http config page) and
the SNMP
