I ahve compiled the splashd w/o uClibc. So, this version should run fine
with Bering 1.2.
As I said before, I have no means to test this.
An "ldd" on the system where I compiled splashd spits out:
ldd splashd
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0 (0x4001a000)
libc.so.6

No. As far as I know Bering 1.2 is not uClibc and I have no Bering 1.2
installation. But I could
compile it w/o uClibc and mail it to you, however, "testing" would be
with you.
