You will have to add it to local.local
There is a small gotcha with this, if you have your media mounted it
will also save its contents :-(

I was probably too
Add the local.lrp if you don't have it, then add the files you need saved to
that.

Erich,
I revised the tar command to tar czf mountpoint.lrp usr/filestore and it
worked fine. Thanks again for the assistance,
Kory

Erich,
A clever and not too tough a solution.
When I try it however I get an error...
I create the directory /usr/fileserve then mount the floppy on /mnt.
When I try ro create the mountpoint.lrp
tar czf /usr/fileserve /mnt/mountpoint.lrp
I get (tar : /usr/fileserve : File exists)
I am not a regula

I solved the same issue by creating the mount point, then tar czf
/mountpoint mountpt.lrp
Then add mountpt.lrp to your package list and
OK, leaving it as samba22 fixed the menu and save issues. Any ideas on
how to save the mount point folder I create to share?

Hi Kory,
It shouldn't be renamed indeed ;-)

Eric,
I renamed samba22.lrp to samba.lrp. So there is only one version loaded.
It loads OK and the daemons start. /etc/init.d/samba restart does
restart the daemons. I did not see anything in the logs that would
explain it not showing up
in the package config menu. Unless It needs to be samba22.l

Looking over the new 3.0 release. I am considering upgrading but I need
to add a subdirectory to the /usr directory to share with samba. I can
find no way to
make the added directory persist through a reboot. I remember some
discussion about a similar topic regarding the configuration save

Eric,
Thanks for the response. This board is an Nforce 2 unit. It turns out
the forcedeth.o in the modules tarball works fine.

Not sure. You could try the sis900 driver (which seems to have realtek
8201 code inside) or any of the realtek drivers (8139too, 8139cp, r8169
..) or the generic ne2k-pci.
